Hoki-1 drilling restarts off New Zealand

WELLINGTON, New Zealand – Drilling has resumed at the Hoki-1 exploration well offshore Taranaki basin, New Zealand, in PEP 38401, reports New Zealand Oil & Gas Ltd.
Drilling was suspended while repairs were made to the drilling mast.
The well is 135 km west of New Plymouth in 330 m water depth. TD is planned for 3,570 m.
Participants are AWE as operator with 50%; NZOG subsidiary Petroleum Resources Ltd., 10%; OMV New Zealand Pty Ltd., 21.25%; and Todd Petroleum Mining Co Ltd., 18.75%.
