M'Sela West 1 off Tunisia P&A'd

GURGAON, India -- Cairn Energy PLC has P&A'd the M'Sela West 1 exploration well offshore Tunisia in the Louza block without testing.

The well reached 2,555 m (8,383 ft) to the Serdj formation, according to Cairn, with m inor evidence of light oil.

Cairn has 85% interest in Louza with Dyas Tu7nisia BV holding 15%.
