West Callisto set for duty for Premier

SINGAPORE-- Keppel FELS expects to deliver the KFELS B Class jackup rig West Callisto to Seadrill before the end of July.
The rig underwent a naming ceremony over the weekend at the Keppel FELS yard in Singapore.
West Callisto is due to start development drilling operations shortly off Indonesia under a nine-month contract with Premier Oil.
The KFELS B Class design, developed by Keppel’s Offshore Technology Development division, is said to provide maximum uptime with reduced emissions and discharges.
The company has so far built four KFELS B Class jackups and six KFELS semisubmersible drilling tenders for Seadrill.
