The Western Australian Department of Mines & Petroleum has authorized MEO Australia to drill the Artemis-1 exploration well in offshore permit WA-360-P.

MELBOURNE -- The Western Australian Department of Mines & Petroleum has authorized MEO Australia to drill the Artemis-1 exploration well in offshore permit WA-360-P.
It has also accepted MEO’s Well Operations Management Plan. This is the final regulatory approval in relation to drilling of the well.
MEO expects to receive the designated rig around mid-November, depending on operational progress on its current well for Shell.
Following handover, the rig will be towed to the Artemis-1 location. This should take around seven days.
