AWE spuds well in East Java basin

NORTH SYDNEY, New South Wales – AWE Ltd. says work is under way at the Liyun-1 wildcat in the Bulu PSC of East Java basin offshore Indonesia.

The well, 35 km (22 mi) offshore in 55 m (180 ft) of water targets the Kujung reef carbonates at a target TD of 2,570 m (8,432 ft).
