Two wells approved for offshore western Greenland

Cairn Energy Plc. has received formal approval to drill the first two wells in its 2010 exploration program in the Disko West area offshore western Greenland.

EDINBURGH, UK – Cairn Energy Plc. has received formal approval to drill the first two wells in its 2010 exploration program in the Disko West area offshore western Greenland. The program calls for four total wells. The approval comes from Greenland’s Cabinet.
