SYDNEY, Australia -- AWE Ltd. says it is preparing to run the Tui SW-2 BOP now that the repairs which were delayed due to bad weather are complete.

Once the BOP is operational, the plan is to drill 8 1/2 in hole from 1,573 m (5,161 ft) to TD of 3,725 m (12,221 ft). The Tui SW prospect is in mining license PMP 38158 in the offshore Taranaki basin.

When drilling is complete plans are to case and suspended the well for possible future gas injection.
