Falklands Toroa well under way

The semisub Ocean Guardian has spudded the third in its current campaign of exploration wells offshore the Falkland Islands.

PORT STANLEY, Falkland Islands -- The semisub Ocean Guardian has spudded the third in its current campaign of exploration wells offshore the Falkland Islands.
The Toroa F61/5-1 well started drilling for BHP/Falklands Oil & Gas (FOGL) partnership on Monday in License PL15.

FOGL says the well will be drilled to an estimated TD of 2,700 m (8,858 ft). Operations should take around 35 days.
