WEST PERTH, Western Australia – Well A-11 ST#1 on North Padre block 975 in the Gulf of Mexico flowed gas at 4.44 MMcf/d on a 16/64-in choke, reports Entek Energy Ltd.
The well was re-entered and a sidetrack drilled to TD of 7,983 ft (2,433 m) and logged pay at multiple levels, says Entek. A 5-in production liner then was run and cemented.
Peregrine Oil & Gas is the operator on the block, in 166 ft (51 m) of water.
