Tui SW well suspended for future program

The Tui SW-2 exploration well in the Taranki basin offshore New Zealand has been suspended for use as a future gas injector, according to partner New Zealand Oil & Gas.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand -- The Tui SW-2 exploration well in the Taranki basin offshore New Zealand has been suspended for use as a future gas injector, according to partner New Zealand Oil & Gas.

Anchor handling operations are under way, ahead of the Kan Tan IV drilling rig’s mobilization to the Kahu-1 location, around 2 km (1.2 mi) east of the producing Tui oil field.
