LONDON – Hoang Long Joint Operating Co. has extended by two weeks preparations for testing of the Te Giac Den appraisal well (TGD-2X) in the Cuu Long basin offshore Vietnam.
According to partner SOCO International, pressure control packers and seals downhole have been impacted by the high temperatures in the well, in block 16-1. Equipment modifications are needed to ensure safe operation.
