Sarawak Shell Berhad/Sabah Shell Petroleum Co. Ltd. of Malaysia has awarded a contract extension to the Atwood Falcon drilling rig.

HOUSTON -- Sarawak Shell Berhad/Sabah Shell Petroleum Co. Ltd. of Malaysia has awarded a contract extension to the Atwood Falcon drilling rig. The $27-45 million agreement, depending upon drilling plans, moves the contract end to Jan. 24, 2011.
Atwood also says this contract means all its deepwater semisubmersible drilling rigs are contracted through fiscal 2011.
