Enovation Resources has announced the successful drilling and completion of offshore well A-9 ST01 (Phoenix) as a gas producer, in West Cameron 171 (OCS-G01997).

Hamilton, Bermuda– Enovation Resources has announced the successful drilling and completion of offshore well A-9 ST01 (Phoenix) as a gas producer, in West Cameron 171 (OCS-G01997). The well, which is to be produced through the existing platform, encountered productive sands at a number of levels and was completed on Oct. 21 safely and under budget by the operator, Houston-based Breton Energy LLC. First commercial production is expected to be brought on-stream in the near future. Enovation has a 4.6875% working interest in the well.
The recently announced renewed gas production from West Cameron 225 (OCS-G0900) No. 7 and 8 wells has now built to a stabilized rate of 5.4 MMcf/d, through the new upgraded platform. This production rate is significantly higher than original expectations. The two wells, which are also operated by Breton Energy LLC, came back online on Oct. 13. Enovation has a 20.4% working interest in both wells.
