The semisub Songa Delta has spudded exploration well 6507/11-10 on the Frusalen prospect in the Norwegian North Sea.

STOCKHOLM -- The semisub Songa Delta has spudded exploration well 6507/11-10 on the Frusalen prospect in the Norwegian North Sea.
The well will target Middle Jurassic sandstones in a structural trap. The Frusalen prospect is estimated to contain gross unrisked prospective resources of 45 MMboe, according to operator Det Norske.
The well has a planned total depth of approximately 2,300 m (7,546 ft) below mean sea level.
