The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has granted Lundin Norway a permit to drill a wildcat well in production license 359 using the semisub Transocean Winner.

STAVANGER-- The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has granted Lundin Norway a permit to drill a wildcat well in production license 359 using the semisub Transocean Winner.
The area in the production license consists of the southwestern part of block 16/1 and the northern part of block 16/4. Well 16/4-5 will be drilled south of the 16/1-8 discovery (Luno) in the central part of the North Sea.
Production license 359 was awarded in APA 2004. This is the first well to be drilled in the license.
