Offshore staff

OSLO, Norway -- Total has clearance from Petroleum Safety Authority Norway to drill an exploration well in the Norwegian central North Sea.

The semisubmersible Ocean Vanguard will drill well 25/5-7 in license PL 102 C, 22 km (13.5 mi) east of the Heimdal complex.

Depending on the scope of testing, and a possible sidetrack, the activity will last between 45 and 90 days.
