Norwegian Energy Co. (Noreco) has contracted Senergy for project management of an exploration well in the Norwegian North Sea.

STAVANGER, Norway -- Norwegian Energy Co. (Noreco) has contracted Senergy for project management of an exploration well in the Norwegian North Sea.
The program, due to start this fall, will target the Svaneøgle prospect in block 17/6.
Senergy previously worked for Noreco in summer 2007 on the Tasta drilling project, east of the Jotun field, providing well operation management, logistics, and well construction reporting. Construction operations included drilling, coring, electric line logging, well abandonment, and mobilization of the rig to and from the location.
Senergy started well planning work for Svaneøgle in February 2010. Next year, the company will also support Noreco’s exploration campaign offshore Denmark.
