Offshore staff
(Asia-Pacific) - Jurong Shipyard has won a $165.5 million contract to build a Baker Marine Pacific Class 375 deep drilling offshore jackup rig from JackInvest I Pte Ltd.
Work on the jackup is expected to begin in May 2006, and delivery scheduled is no later than December 2008.
The rig will be equipped to drill high-pressure and high-temperature wells at 30,000 ft in 375 ft of water and will have accommodations for 120 personnel.
