The jackup Prometheus completed the Kuzey Akkaya-1 well in the South Akcakoca sub-basin project in the Black Sea off Turkey and has moved to begin installation of the Akkaya production tripod.

(Dallas) -- The jackupPrometheus completed the Kuzey Akkaya-1 well in the South Akcakoca sub-basin project in the Black Sea off Turkey and has moved to begin installation of the Akkaya production tripod.
Once the tripod is installed,Prometheus is scheduled to drill another development well on Dogu Ayazli structure, and then tieback two additional tripods to Dogu Ayazli and Ayazli.
The SASB project is a joint venture of Toreador Resources Corp., TPAO (the Turkish national oil company), and Stratic Energy Corp.
