WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Minerals Management Service and the Indian Oil Industry Safety Directorate agreed to share knowledge and experience regarding offshore oil and gas regulations in a memorandum of understanding.
OISD visited MMS to examing US offshore safety regulations; licensing and approvals; audit and inspection programs; peraonnel training; and incident and accident investigation.
A plan of cooperative activities under the MOU will be developed.
