Offshore staff

(Nigeria) -- A security guard for Nigerian-owned Consolidated Oil reportedly was kidnapped from an offshore drilling rig in the southern part of the country.

According to the reports, the kidnappers said they were from nearby Sangana and were protesting the corporation's terms of agreement regarding local jobs and investments.
