Offshore staff

ABERDEEN, Scotland -- Plectrum Petroleum Plc. acquires 50% interest and operatorship of Nabeul block offshore Tunisia.

Nabeul is in the Gulf of Hammamet and adjacent to producing concessions. The work plan includes reprocessing of existing seismic data, and 2D seismic to confirm suitability for electromagnetic and marnie magnetotelluric imaging.

Nabeul covers 3,352 sq km and is in water depths of 250-800 m. Entreprise Tunisienne d'Activités Pétrolières, the Tunisian government oil and gas company, has the remaining 50% interest.
