HAMILTON, Bermuda -- Newfield Peninsula Malaysia contracted with SeaDrill Ltd. for the semisubmersible West Berani. for two years starting January 2007.
The contract value is estimated at $87 million for the rig, which currently is under construction with a 4Q06 completion date. Duration of the agreement is two years.
