Offshore staff

ABERDEEN -- Svenska Petroleum Exploration (UK) is to participate in an exploratory well next spring on the Balgownie prospect in UKCS Block 30/23b. The well, operated by Endeavour Energy UK, will test a Jurassic target, at an expected depth of 9,800-ft.

Balgownie lies on trend with the Maersk-operated Janice and James fields respectively 17 and 12-km to the north-west Svenska has a 6.45% interest in both.
