Eni makes Longhorn North discovery in GoM

MILAN, Italy -- A new Gulf of Mexico gas discovery was made by Eni at the Longhorn North well 195 km southeast of New Orleans in Mississippi Canyon block 502.

In 710 m of water, the well was drilled to TD of 3,400 m and found gas sands which exceeded expectations. Eni is evaluarting development alternatives with early production as the target.
