Seadrill gets LOI for West Navigator to work Ormen Lange

HAMILTON, Bermuda --Norske Shell has issued a letter of intent to Seadrill on behalf of operator Norse Hydro to use the drillship West Navigator on Ormen Lange field in the Norwegian Sea.
The $806-million contract is scheduled to begin on Oct. 1, 2007, and run for four years and nine months.
The agreement is subject to approval by Ormen Lange partners.
