STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Based on completion of a pilot hole in the first Didon Phase II production well, PA Resources has logged the hold and confirmed the hydrocarbon column and reservoir properties.
Drilled from the new Didon platform by the jackupOcean Spur off Tunisia, the pilot hole also was drilled to serve as a control for the horizontal production well which will be 1,000 m long.
Once completed, the Didon-5 well is expected to have a production capacity of 12,000 b/d of oil.
