Petro-Canada has awarded a two-year contract to Weatherford International Ltd. for a four-well program in the North Sea. The contract covers four 5 1/2-in. expandable sand screen competions in open holes of oil producing wells.

HOUSTON -- Petro-Canada has awarded a two-year contract to Weatherford International Ltd. for a four-well program in the North Sea. The contract covers four 5 1/2-in. expandable sand screen competions in open holes of oil producing wells. A total of about 11,000 ft. of screen will be installed.
The first well is scheduled for completion by year-end using theGSF Arctic III semisubmersible drilling rig.
