KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- Genting Oil & Gas Ltd. Anambas-1X exploration well off Indonesia found both dry gas and condensate.
Flow rates tested at 15.6 MMcf/d of gas and 488 b/d of condensate. In the West Natuna area's Anambas block, the well is 160 km north of Matak and 280 km east of Kerteh.
Further evaluation is planned to determine reserves quantity and development potential. Genting expects to drill two more exploration wells in northwest Natuna some 90 km north of the Anambas-1X.
