Offshore staff

HOUSTON -- BPZ Energy Inc. has spudded its first Corvina field well with a target TD of 10,114 ft. The well is from a platform offshore northwest Peru.

BPZ plans for gas from Corvina to fuel a power plant onshore and its Ecuador gas exports project.
