MELBOURNE, Australia -- The Dua-5X well on block 12E offshore Vietnam has intersected several gas and oil reservoirs. Preparations are under way for a DST.
The well marks the first successful intersection of the primary reservoir in the northern and southern fault block of the permit.
Following completion of testing operations on Dua-5X RE the rig will move to drill 12E-CS-1X well on the Blackbird prospect to explore a large tilted fault block up-dip of an earlier well (12E-LK-1X).
Premier Oil Plc. as operator, Santos International Holdings Pty. Ltd., and Delek Energy are the permit holders.
