Offshore staff

OSLO, Norway -- Hydro has signed a letter of intent with Seadrill Management AS for the supply of cased-hole wireline services at Hydro's offshore installation.

The agreement runs for three years starting on Sept. 15, 2006, with an extension option of three two-year periods and covers Hydro's Norwegian continental shelf installations.

Under the contract, Seadrill will supply complete cased-hole wireline services including mechanical and electrical wireline service, and tractor service. Seadrill also will be responsible for planning, logistics, performance and service results.
