BRISBANE, Australia -- Spud date for Wellington 1 in PL 1368 west of the Shetlands in the UK continental shelf was moved to Aug. 13.

Wellington 1 will be drilled by the semisubmersibleBredford Dolphin in 148 m of water 140 km west of Sullom Voe, Shetland Islands, says Sunshine Gas Ltd.

Drilling is expected to take 18 days to reach 1,005 m. The Jurassic Rona reservoir, which has been found in several area wells, is the target.
