Dril-Quip lands $180 million wellhead deal in Brazil

Dril-Quip Inc. subsidiary Dril-Quip do Brasil LTDA has been awarded a three year contract valued at approximately $180 million for the supply of subsea wellhead systems to Petrobras for use in the drilling of deepwater wells offshore Brazil.

HOUSTON -- Dril-Quip Inc. subsidiary Dril-Quip do Brasil LTDA has been awarded a three year contract valued at approximately $180 million for the supply of subsea wellhead systems to Petrobras for use in the drilling of deepwater wells offshore Brazil. Initial orders under the contract are valued at approximately $80 million and will be included in Dril-Quip's backlog at the end of the second quarter.
