CALGARY, Canada -- Sterling Resources is scheduled to drill the Airidh and Macanta wells, south and east of the Breagh field respectively, during 2Q 2010. The wells will target potential satellite tiebacks to developing Breagh infrastructure.

A follow up well to the Cladhan discovery in the northern North Sea is also scheduled for early 2Q 2010. The new well is designed to provide additional information on the upside around the discovery, which did not establish the full extent of the oil reservoir. The Cladhan program may involve an additional sidetrack and testing, the company says.

Sterling Resources also plans to drill the Grian prospect in Quad 48 to evaluate a Rotliegendes prospect, west of the Hewett gas field.
