The drillship Deepwater Pathfinder has spudded the Kina prospect in block 4 of the Nigeria Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Zone, according to Addax Petroleum.

CALGARY, Canada -- The drillship Deepwater Pathfinder has spudded the Kina prospect in block 4 of the Nigeria Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Zone, according to Addax Petroleum.
The company has recently acquired an additional 51% interest and operatorship of block 3 of the JDZ. Addax plans to drill the Kina and Lemba prospects in blocks 4 and 3 with the first two slots on the drillship.
