STAVANGER -- The Brage field’s first well is expected onstream in October, according to Noreco. The company has completed the Brage A-22A well as an ultra long reach water injection well to the Bowmore structure. Noreco is now drilling the first of two additional infill producers.

Noreco has also conducted drilling and completion of water injection well NA-9 on the Nini field in Denmark. The well is currently shut-in awaiting commissioning of the Nini water injection pipeline. The Nini producer NA-10 was completed in August, and will be brought onstream within the next few days, the company says.

Following completion of the Nini drilling program, the rig Mærsk Resolute has moved to Nini East to drill development wells. Nini East is scheduled to start production in the fourth quarter.
