OSLO, Norway – Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has approved Lundin Norway’s latest appraisal drilling program in the Norwegian North Sea.

TheTransocean Arctic will perform drilling and production testing of well 16/2-13 on license 501, containing the Johan Sverdrup discovery.

Drilling will start in June or July, and should last 43 days, depending on whether a find results.
