    The semisubmersible Borgland Dolphin will drill a side track (34/6-2A) to Total’s recent Garantiana oil discovery in the Norwegian North Sea.

    OSLO, Norway – The semisubmersible Borgland Dolphin will drill a side track (34/6-2A) to Total’s recent Garantiana oil discovery in the Norwegian North Sea.

    According to partner Bridge Energy, the aim is to prove additional oil volumes in the Garantiana Cook formation and to determine oil/water contact.

    Garantiana is in license PL554.
