MPX North Sea has terminated its current contract with Awilco Drilling.

ABERDEEN, UK – MPX North Sea has terminated its current contract with Awilco Drilling.
This follows technical downtime incurred by the semisubmersibleWilhunterduring appraisal drilling on the Orlando field earlier this year in the UK North Sea. Estimated remaining time of the contract was 21 days.
Repairs toWilhunter should be completed mid-June, after which the rig is scheduled start work for its next client in the central North Sea.
