Hess books Awilco semi for well shutdowns

Awilco Drilling has confirmed a contract with Hess to provide the semisubmersible WilHunter for a well abandonment program in the central North Sea.

ABERDEEN, UK – Awilco Drilling has confirmed a contract with Hess to provide the semisubmersible WilHunter for a well abandonment program in the central North Sea.

The contract, likely to start next summer, comprises a firm 400 days with an optional 240 days.
