Leiv Eiriksson relocates for next Falkland well

LONDON – Borders & Southern has P&A’d the Stebbing exploration well (61/25-1) south of the Falkland Islands, following technical difficulties.

The semisubmersibleLeiv Eirikssonis now assigned to Falkland Oil and Gas (FOGL), and is in transit to the Loligo well location.

After drilling this and a further well for FOGL and its joint venture partner Edison International, the rig will be demobilized.
