HOUSTON – The jackup Rowan Gorilla VII will appraise Apache’s Aviat shallow gas discovery in the North Sea after completing operations on the Bacchus field.

Offshore Western Australia, Apache is a partner in the Pyrenees field, where a new development well came onstream in mid-July. It is flowing oil at 11,000 b/d.
