QGOG to provide engineering for Sete semisubmersibles in Brazil

Queiroz Galvão Óleo e Gás (QGOG) in partnership with Sete Brasil has signed charter and service agreements for three semisubmersible drilling rigs to be built at the BrasFels shipyard in Brazil.

RIO DE JANEIRO --Queiroz Galvão Óleo e Gás (QGOG) in partnership with Sete Brasil has signed charter and service agreements for three semisubmersible drilling rigs to be built at the BrasFels shipyard in Brazil.
TheUrca, Bracuhy, and Mangaratibaare scheduled to begin operating in 2016, 2018, and 2019, respectively. Petrobras will have a 15-year term on each rig with a 5-year renewal option.
QGOG will have engineering teams dedicated to each drilling rig. The company will be involved in all stages of the process, beginning with the rig’s construction which includes engineering and building through commissioning and acceptance.
This is part of the 21-rig package signed by Sete andPetrobras.
