VANCOUVER -- The Kunene No.1 well on block 1711, offshore Namibia, is expected to continue drilling beyond the estimated 50 - 60 days to reach 4,400 m (14,436 ft) TD due to weather delays and mechanical issues, according to EnerGulf Resources.

Total depth is anticipated by mid June. The company will then decide whether to continue drilling to a depth of approximately 5,500 m (18,045 ft).

The Republic of Namibia has classified the Kunene No.1 as a "tight hole", meaning no information regarding the well may be released until the Namibian government determines to make the information public.
