Offshore staff

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil –Petrobras Oil and Gas BV has signed a $630-million contract with MPF to use the MPF-01 multi-purpose vessel under construction in Spain as a deepwater drilling unit. Petrobras has an option to extend the contract to five years at $965 million total.

The Dragados Offshore SA yard in Cadiz, Spain, is scheduled to delivery the vessel in 4Q 2009.
