ATP announces two deepwater GoM discoveries

HOUSTON --ATP Oil & Gas Corp. has participated in two successful exploration wells in deepwater Gulf of Mexico drilling.
The Gladden prospect at Mississippi Canyon 800 in 3,116 ft (950 m) of water found oil while the Anduin West prospect in Mississippi Canyon 754 in 2,696 ft (822 m) of water hit gas and condensate.
Newfield Exploration Co. is operator of both blocks. ATP has 10% working interest in Gladden and 25% in Anduin. ATP'sInnovator moored in Mississippi Canyon 711 at Gomez would handle processing from both new finds.
Production is expected to start in late 2009.
