    StatoilHydro to drill wildcat in PL 394

    The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has issued StatoilHydro ASA a drilling permit for wellbore 6706/12-1 in production license 394.

    STAVANGER -- The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has issued StatoilHydro ASA a drilling permit for wellbore 6706/12-1 in production license 394.

    Well 6706/12-1 is situated about 294 km (183 mi) from Brønnøysund and consists of blocks 6706/12 and 6707/10.

    Transocean Leader has been contracted to drill the well.
