CHENNAI, India -- Aban Offshore Ltd. has received a letter of intent to deploy the newbuilt jackup rig Deep Driller 8 offshore India for a two firm well and two optional well program.
The contract's firm period will last for approximately 150 days and will begin once the rig is delivered in 1Q 2009. The estimated revenue is $30 million.
