Offshore staff
BANCHORY, UK -- Xcite Energy Resources has entered into a binding drilling contract with Rowan for a newbuild harsh environment jackup.
Rowan subsidiary British American Offshore Ltd will supply the N-Class Rowan Norway for first-stage production of the heavy oil Bentley field in the UK North Sea. The rig should become available this fall.
Rowan Norway, currently under construction, is a deep water jackup, designed for simultaneous drilling and production.
